Tasting Notes
Nose
Full bodied and delightfully sweet - this gives notes of baked bananas, dark chocolate cherries, fresh jackfruit and milk chocolate raisins. These aromas are supported by a stable base of orange pith, wholemeal toast and lavender.
Palate
Plum tatin and fruited hot caramel. Melba toast enrobed in damson jam and thick-cut marmalade. Sauternes and spicy ginger beer. A waxy edge adds yet more complexity.
Finish
Candied walnuts with a square of 90% dark chocolate and slightly waxy citrus rind. Soft leather and pecan pie fight for the final word.
